3D interactive scene for Alibaba’s industrial IoT platform intro website —> supET
Background
What is supET
supET(Super Easy Transformation) provides digital industrial solutions for manufacturing companies with digital transformation. This project requires a website to present all solutions and hardware products, and visually reflect the sense of high-tech of manufacturing industry.
Challenge
There are so many solutions that are complicated and boring to present, I want to make them interesting and straightforward.
Highlights
3D interactive key scene
Based on 56 research reports, I chose automotive production as the scene. It not only encompasses our main capabilities, but also resonates more closely with daily life, making it an ideal context for demonstration.
4 key capabilities emerged: data collection, analysis, application, and supply chain management. By clicking, user can enter the specific mini scene.
Website
Besides the 3D scene, I designed all the UI and interactive motion effect of the website.
AR interactive installation
In 2022 APSARA conference, instead of showing just video about the platform, I decided to launch an AR interactive installation based on the 3D scene. I do Unity development, including programming of interaction, motion, and material building in U3D with Vuforia.
